Matthew W. Raulston - Web
Vice President - Attorney Licensed in Georgia
Matthew W. Raulston, “Web”, concentrates his practice in the real estate title industry and operates as a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia. Web has personally closed hundreds of transactions ranging from simple to complex, residential to commercial and from single state to multistate. He is a licensed Title Insurance Agent in the states of Georgia and Tennessee. Web based his practice for four years with Pioneer Title Agency in Chattanooga, TN before him and his partner, Bill Jones, left to form a separate company in 2014. Web is the Vice President of Jones Raulston Title Insurance Agency, Inc. and Jones & Raulston P.C. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from The Charlotte School of Law and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in real estate from the University of Mississippi, where he served as the Business School President. Web and his wife, Liz, live in Chattanooga and enjoy volunteering with Habit for Humanity and spending time with their son, Parks.
William D. Jones - Bill
President - Licensed Attorney in Tennessee
Mr. Jones has been a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee since 1953. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and was awarded a B.S. Degree in Business Administration in 1975. While attending the University, he served on the Undergraduate Alumni Council, the Student Council, and held several offices in his fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha. Upon graduation in 1975, Mr. Jones began work with First Federal Savings and Loan Association which at the time was the largest savings and loan institution in the Chattanooga area. During his ten years of employment, he trained as an appraiser, accounting assistant, legal assistant and branch manager. During his years as a legal assistant, he worked directly with in-house counsel. His duties included the review of title insurance commitments and policies, the review of residential and commercial closing files, as well as the direct supervision of all real estate closing personnel and procedures. During his last four years of employment at First Federal Savings and Loan Association, he commuted in the evenings to attend the Nashville School of Law from which he was awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1984. He was issued his License to Practice Law in the State of Tennessee in 1984 and has continually remained in active practice since that time. Mr. Jones is a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is an active member in the American Land Title Association and the Tennessee Land Title Association. He has served as President of the Tennessee Land Title Association and routinely supports the association by teaching continuing education classes for its members and serving on its board.
